What happened

where did our friendship go

just tell me this little thing

because I really want to know



What did I ever do to you

to make it end this way

you don’t even talk to me anymore

don’t you have anything left to say



you just stopped talking to me

you didn’t say a word

did I do something to you

that really made you hurt



I don’t expect many things

but I think you owe me this much

just tell me why the fuck

we suddenly lost touch



I won’t come to you anymore

you seem so distant and cold

I just wanted you to know this

I just wanted it to be told



Maybe I wasn’t the best of friends

but at least I always tried

I remember being there for you

when you laughed and when you cried



We promised to always be there for each other

but that didn’t seem to come through

somewhere along the road

you lost me and I lost you



I just want some answers

and then I’ll let you be

I should have known all along

that someday you would leave me.
