hangs on the horizon
still fierce and bound in confusion
yet its edges are frayed and pulled

The new light sweeps with fresh winds
that vaporize the tempest and energize
the strength to resign yesterday
and commit to a new course

With this new determination
revival’s pathways are accessible
as the peace that comes through resolution
scatters the chains of turmoil

In the end, the strength and power
bequeathed to our humble souls
will unleash and persevere
as hope is bound to faith
