I've been feeling rather sick for the past couple of years
My fault, your fault, everyone’s fault?  Doesn't matter.
I'm standing before you because I just can't anymore
Here is my 2 weeks’ notice

I've been feeling quite poor, mentally and physically 
But, apparently, you are too fucking blind to figure it out
So I guess I have to spell it out for you 
I'm putting in my 2 weeks’ notice

Why am I always by myself, crying?
If I didn't have a clean bill of health, I'd say I was dying
I wanna be happy, I swear that I'm trying
It's not working, take my 2 weeks’ notice

I don't understand why I get sad
If it were up to me, I'd always be glad
I hope, and believe, with all of my heart, that I will be truly happy one day
But until that time comes, here is my 2 weeks’ notice
