Such a lovely name
For a lovely idea
Gaia Earth Mother
The world in harmony
No work of man
Flora and fauna
Balanced in rhyme
James Lovelock saw you
And tried to give warning
Mankind will have to pay
If he doesn’t learn fast
Our mortgage is rising
And sooner or later
nature
will
foreclose

Author's Notes/Comments:
Hmmmmm ?
This is really a tribute mostly to James Lovelock. I've never met the man, but I've seen him speaking about his "Gaia hypothesis".
Lovelock to me seems like that architypal professor from school.
Not the teacher who ruled your schooling, but the one who reached you, inspired you to think beyond ....
I hope you like this, and if it helps in any way to get more people to understand the ramifications of Gaia, then good for that too.
