Floating Along
Floating alongwith the stream tide
Life's journey watching like a floating leaf
Once just fallen from a branch above
As water flows - time passes - the leaf decays
Turned yellow from bright green
Youth is maybe what passes in between
Most rot and shrivel downstream
Eaten by worms,moss-covered,skeletons
Drift down beneath- eaten by planktons
This is not what life is all about
Millions of fallen seeds float to banks
Muddy yet green- grimy,dirty but adventurous
Enjoy the growth with flowers and fruits
Ripe and succulent- sweet sight for sore eyes
So ! It is all over! except for a few hurried goodbyes
All over in less than a century !!
Is Life bitter ? Painful? where's the Jury?
