Spray Can
Multihued sky laden heavy with colour clouds
Seated above-- the Rain God's colourful play
Polished,shiny,coloured baubles and beads
Thousands of tinted huge coloured bubbles
Roar of thunder severs the coloured canopy
Then came the pitter patter followed by gushes
Bright ,sticky fast colours from the Spray Can
Showering heavenly colours on the dull earth
The rusted tin roof of the humble abode
Shines now with glimmering orange
The boundary wall painted grassy green
Chimney atop -- sparkling in white pearl
Polio-stricken child in crutches
Gazes longingly up to Rain God
Diamond rains down-- she is precious!!
Beggar in rags on an empty stomach
Sweet fluffy cakes ,almonds,cashews,pistachios..
Milk rains down-- he gulps and swallows
She has fared miserably in her Board exams
Stares shocked at the numbers raining from above
People are out on the streets with bags and nets
Money is raining !! Coins.. and currency
Even the millionaire forgets his decency
Was it real or simply a flight of fancy ?
