Honey Dew whisky -- two inches in a glass tumbler
Put in two cubes of ice and two inches of cold water
The liquid trickles down the throat into the stomach
Stomach feels warm..man feels a shade happier
Turns on the MP4 player and puts the volume to "low"
Pours another two inches - feels "no friend,no foe"
What a magical drink!refreshing he hasn't any woe
Soft music soothes his jittered nerves- pours an inch more
"Oh my God! I'm a happy,happy man"-- ecstasy galore !
Dim soft light,plush comfy settee "I need an inch more"
As the night progresses he's quite drunk-crashes to the floor
Food remains untouched-- the man has eaten nothing !!
As the sparrows chirp and morning light filters into the room
He feels like a neo wed wife kicked by her groom !
