Skyscrapers,hovercrafts,space shuttles to the moon
Maybe 2033 has arrived a little too soon
Glorious , dandy gadgets-- machines to obey man
Oxyrich air sold at corners at two bucks a can
Solar powered hovercrafts... small,comfy,petite
Ply day and night-- they're fast and light
In trash orbits lie the old gasolene vehicles
You'll not see any pretty belle mowing grass with sickles
No grass, no trees, no green can be seen
Its not what geeks thought it should have been
Light blue film dome blocks out the UV rays
Night is always bright... daylight never greys
Sparrows, crows, cocks calling-- memories of the past
Only humans now exist... the birds did not last
Bright dewy flowers, leaves all man made
To decorate the earth .... their colours never fade
No babies are born.. because it's a loss of time
They are thought as filthy - sex next to some crime
Disease does not stalk.. no agony.. no pain
Goodbye sick folks.. you'll never walk the earth again
People don't chew food... a slush they swig to feel good
Frivolous, mushy talk over hot coffee .. they're in no mood
Third World War had happened just a decade back
The billion lives it took is just news on a rack
Man no longer works in offices to earn a living
Food,clothes,shelter are theirs without asking
Politics is past, religion is History, differences are past
People have again learnt to love.. how long will it last ?
