or the artfully decorated Churches
More than the warm Christmas cake
or the presents we give and take
More than the new clothes we wear
get-together relatives from far & near
The birds of war shiver in fear
I don't know if a bomb'll strike here
What'll happen to my grandchildren ?
Already the air is poisoned wth smog
I dream of chimney in a house of log
Will Santa come ? I'm sure he will
Ringing sledge bells bringing goodwill
