Mending Unpoets
==============
Someone out there does not like poets
Netizens scribble,doodle on net
Humble innocent words percolate
Through porous Earthen pots
Bridging the haves and have nots

Words of poets float
Over oceans and mountains
Into the narrow chasms
of the grey blocked minds
Greys glisten blacks brighten

Myriad colours shine
Words are The Earthly Divine
The words written are
neither yours nor mine
Delve think awhile
You'll discover a goldmine

Words are Universal
Words are true
I'd try to seep into poets' mind
If I were the nice you

Wish you well
The one who dislikes words
You are missing much
Don't lament afterwards

The sun will shine
The moon will grow
My good friends sit back
And enjoy the show

Author's Notes/Comments:

A schoolfriend of mine on facebook (shall not name him) spoke ill of poets in one of his comments. I hope this is a befitting reply.
