I had that same dream last night

I saw you in the twilight

your hair lit by the moonlight

and everything felt so right

stars filled the night skies

and sparkled in your eyes

everything felt so right

you were dressed to be thrilling

and looked so alluring and willing

my passions been building

my dreams need fullfilling

I've been dreaming for

such a long time

and I've told you too much

or, maybe no, not enough

and I don't know

what's wrong or what's right

I just want to hold her

feel her dream on my shoulder

and let her know

sometimes dreams can come true

let her know I'm more than I seem

and that I too have a dream

and maybe our dreams are the same

a chance for a broke heart to mend

with a new love that won't end

but I have a wife

your trying to start a new life

and our love may never be right

so please can't I just hold you tight

and let me get lost in this feeling

in the moments were stealing  

and I don't know what's right

or what's wrong

and I've been dreaming

this dream for so long
