As stars shine bright in the sky.
As the moon laminates the night.
As the wind hauls a sound.
As the animals dance around.
No retreat as my eyes aren't shut.

My feet can feel the ground.
As cold as ice,unbound.
I feel the shiver of the night.
My eyes are dim without light.
No retreat as my soul is at fright.
No retreat.
Why does it have to be me?
Why do I have to feel?
Why is my will in defeat?
Why is my mind in discrete?
No retreat as I always over think.

My time will never come.
I will never shine.
The sun will never be bright.
My tomorrow will never have light.
