My Puppy Dog.
I found you at the Saturday Market,
I knew at once that you would be my pet.
Your big brown eyes looked longingly at me,
It was you my Puppy Dog that I took home with me.
You want me to play with you all of the long day,
I have to work hard you know to earn my pay.
When I come home from my hard days work,
To play and cuddle with you I will not shirk.
When I go to my bed late at night,
You will come with me much to my great delight.
In the morning as I get out of my bed,
Your cries of delight go straight to my old head.
What will I do when you want to play?,
I must go to my job of work to earn my pay.
When I come home you will me greet?
Your cries of welcome are ever so sweet.
You will be long with me by my side. I will always find you when you try to hide.
You are my pet and my pet you will always be.
I will not look for another pet as long as you are with me.
Bernyboy.
