True Love.
- True love is known to but just a few.
- It is a giving without asking for a return.
- For many when it comes it is something quite new,
- Others their whole life will for love yearn.
- If you are one that has received true love,
- Your happiness is shown in every deed.
- You are less likely to push and shove,
- And will help others when in need.
- Eyes shine in a different light,
- When love has come your way,
- In each little thing you find delight,
- Nothing is too difficult to say.
- "I Love You," comes deep inside,
- Some find it difficult to articulate.
- Others find they want to hide,
- As these three little words they hate.
- I was once in a similar predicament,
- These three little words were for me taboo.
- Then my heart did at last repent,
- I finally my Love had met you.
- I know that true love is mine,
- You my sweet are by my side.
- Now my eyes have that particular shine,
There is nothing my face can hide.
