Fairy Grace.

Fairy Grace.

I am back now in her Royal Majesties grace,

We met and she smiled at my most anxious face.

The fairies can all come to my old house,

To play all they want with my family mouse.

They know that they must not stop the time,

I can now write all of my poems in rhyme.

For my newly decorated house she is full of praise,

In my bed of clover the unicorn may now graze.

And you know instead of the elderberries,

I now have a tree filled with ripe cherries.

My flowers are still painted red, white and blue.

All of the fairy folk have remained to me true.

Leprechauns, trolls, pixies and the elves,

All may play hide and seek on my bookshelves.

My house is clean and looks like new,

To celebrate I have cooked some Irish stew.

Elderberry wine is now ripening in my old house,

The very first bottle is for my little family mouse.

Soon it will be time for the fairies annual ball.

There will be food, drink, and presents for all.

I too can invite the lovely winged horse,

The fairies I will teach the code Morse.

All is now well in my funny old house.

With the fairies, me, and my family mouse.

No one will mess around and stop the time,

In my distillery we will drink whisky and lime.

You are all invited please come if you will,

Nothing will be said if you your drinks do spill.

My little old house is open to you all,

Especially on the night of the fairies ball.
