My Fairy TV.
The Fairies have taken over my TV,
A better service you will never see.
I now have films of lovely Fairy Tales.
It has taken the wind right out of my sails.
Fairy Cowboys riding on snow- white unicorns,
The Imps and Elves blow on their fairy horns.
Leprechauns show fields of bright green clover,
from Scotland north to the white cliffs of Dover.
Films made in America’s Hollywood,
Are only shown if they are extra good.
No more films of destruction and war,
Of this the Fairy Queen makes sure.
Any film that is half ways tragic,
Is spelled away by her strong magic.
Fairies and Pixies the films do make,
There is nothing your heart to break.
All is sunshine, love and sweet flowers,
I watch my TV for hours and hours.
Nothing bad or wicked is to be seen,
films are censored by the Fairy Queen.
The Fairy folk have a program for sports,
Running, flying and jumping of all sorts.
The news is read by a Fee in light green,
it is rumoured she is related to the Queen.
Films of nature are shown you know,
so are films of Fairies playing in the snow.
The end of the day is drawing nigh,
So I switch off my television with a sigh.
Will they all come back in the morning new?
the Fairy Queen and all her crew.
