Holiday.
It is funny how life never turns out
the way you think.
As the water lashed the beach
and the sun began to set,
I looked up at the stars,
I never will forget.
The speed at which it fell
its target it did hit.
It got me in the eye
that seagull he could shit!
But life it does go on
and you had went to bed.
It was our honeymoon,
what more can be said.
My eye it went so red
and I could hardly see,
as I sat down on wet sand
and listened to the sea.
I thought, I am a mug.
I was so in the wrong
and you of course were right
this night could be so long.
Oh call me immature,
yes not the sharpest knife
I have a lot to learn
in this trial of life.
But I will tell you this
as I sit here on my arse.
My attitude does stink
but I think this is a farce..
We should have stayed at home,
not married here abroad.
How was I to know
this licence was a fraud.
So I must take the blame
for a wedding that"s a lie
the guy was not a minister
the police they told us why.
