Row upon row of white crosses stand.
Each one a sad but proud reminder of a countries will.
Names are also chiselled on granite blocks
so no one has an excuse to forget.
But the love of ones country and the loss of ones family
can test your resolve.
Especially when you have lost the most.
Whether you are country or family,
it is sometimes hard to salute.
Hard to acknowledge
even harder to accept
that right can be wrong.
Amen.
