I pray and pray, until I can pray no more.
It is time.
I put on my heavy jacket.
I catch the bus as arranged.
For once it is on time.
I find a seat on top at the back,
I glance nervously at my fellow passengers.
I sit ashen faced as my journey unfolds.
I look out the dirty window ,
and thoughts of my Mother come in to mind.
I glance at my watch, it is almost time.
My hands play with a button,
the moment arrives,
my heart stops,
time stops,
the bus stops,
I hate blind dates!
