You are in need
But no one’s word you heed
I take a step to help, and you take one back
While all this pain continues to crack
Everything I once saw in you
But no one can help as you go through
For I keep my hand outstretched for you to grab on
But you would prefer to crack till gone
While I try not to hurt while you self destruct
And I pray for luck
That you’ll see how much I care
While you look at my eyes that stare
And realize what you mean to those around
Those you loved, and those you’ve frowned
They are the ones who make sure it won’t be now or never
And you realize they will provide support always and forever
