In precious moments I dream
Contemplating that which is near to me,
Those that I hold dear.
And in that moment, you pass,
Seen only in my mind's eye
But felt within my heart.
As I dream, I reach out for you -
And you are there within my arms -
You are my life, my love...my longing...
My heart welcomes you.
My arms embrace you.
My body yearns for you.
Your very touch creates in me
Those flames of unbridled desire
Which promise to consume me.
With you, there are no secrets,
Nothing not shared;
I am as a book opened to you.
Together we dance -
In the dance of the ages,
Moving together as one.
And in that moment -
That blissful moment -
When all desires are realized...
Together, we reach paradise,
Proclaiming our arrival with labored breath,
Our hearts beating wild, as one.
Sated, spent, your weight above me.
You rest and my body cradles you-
Neither of us move.
You lift your head,
We gaze into loving eyes.
No words are needed between us.
We have been with love.
We have given love.
We are love.
