AS THE FALL RAINS COME UPON US

EVER GENTLE EVER COOL

THE LEAVES SO FALLING SOFTLY

CHANGING PUDDLES INTO POOLS

WATCHING NATURES CHANGING COLORS

EVER FADING FROM ITS GREENS

GIVING A GLORIOUS PERFORMANCE

OF A RADIANCE TO BE SEEN

AS THE SUN COMES OUT TO SHINE

ON NATURES ANNUAL SCENE

I WILL RELISH ALL ITS BEAUTY

I WILL AWE IN ALL  ITS GLEAM

FOR FALL IS JUST A PREVIEW

THAT ITS AT WINTERS DOOR

SO I WILL REALM IN ITS BEAUTY

FOR I KNOW WHAT IS IN STORE

I WILL PASS THE NEXT THREE SEASONS

FOR I REALLY LOVE THEM ALL

BUT THE BEST WILL COME AGAIN FOR ME

AND THAT IS GLORIOUS FALL
