I Sit and Wait

alone i shake as i sit and wait,

lost 3 miles away from fate,

i see i can't see straight,

swim through the floods i create,

spent days chasing to run away,

have all ears with nothing to say,

turn on the lights to close my eyes,

tell the truth until it comes out lies,

all the same differences fall apart,

creating a fuse to start this heart,

never ending endless thoughts begin,

beneath the scars i bear a grin,

i know this picture could tear again,

and so i sit and wait until then..
