Flashback Fridays I remember the night we watched the Lyrids,
how quickly each one flared and faded,
as we waited, patiently for the next flash,
seemingly content in that stolen silence.
Then you said I was like a planet
that had been pulled apart,
only letting you have a piece
when our orbits crossed.
We lay there,
staring into the heavens,
until dawn.
Sometimes we get comfortable
Sometimes we get comfortable in our own world, and just accept things the way they are. We lay there in the normal mode of life but our dreams are waiting to explode. We have the match in our hands, but we dont lite the fuse. I have been here before and it is comfortable, but to move on is hard, because we dont want change. Life is to short to live it comfortably, I want the fireworks. Love this......

Oh my gosh! Beaves, am I allowed to say it? well who cares Iam this is the most romantic and sensitive and beautiful thing I have read in a long while its perfect. Lyrids I think I would love to know how to pronounce that :) ! I think WOW!!! Someone thinks like this??? incredible! I am very envious of that lovely moment shared. I want be there listening and speaking in that beautiful moment. incredible! This is a whole new side and a whole new level, its very much like that 'heartbeat/further from me' line only it just clicked with my soul. Just gorgeous and wistful and that thing I am always trying to put words to that give that sense of vulnerability and valiance to the situation. INCREDIBLE! my heart beat relaxed a little with an empathic peace...
