The end of the world

The sun came up that morning over an Earth that was devastated. All of the buildings had crumbles to the ground, all of the lakes, rivers, and oceans had dried up, and all of the people were gone. On a lonely, flat, endless plain you could see a lone rabbit walking in the distance. The rabbit walked over the hard sand and dirt. All the grass, trees, and plants were gone. Also in the distance, far away form the rabbit, there was a lone tiger walking in the distance. The tiger was injured and limped. The rabbit and the tiger approached each other. “Are you badly hurt?” asked the rabbit.
The tiger said, “What happened to everything? Where is everyone? I was knocked out and fell unconscious?”
“I’m not sure everything was perfect until the sky went dark” said the rabbit. “ I saw a big black cloud on the sky and everyone started to go crazy, I went to hide out and I didn’t see a thing.”
The tiger was very confused he had just woken up and everything was different from before.
“Lets look for someone, maybe there are still animals alive,” said the tiger.
They went looking for any living thing for hours, and when they were just about to give up they saw something in the sky.
“Look over there! It’s an eagle,” the rabbit said.
The started to shout at him and told him that they needed to talk about what had just happened. The eagle approached them, but he was keeping his distance because he was afraid of what he had seen before on earth.
“What happened to everyone?” asked the tiger. “I was knocked out and when I woke up everyone was gone.”
“It was the black cloud” the eagle said, “It changed everyone.”
“But how did you got away?” asked the rabbit.
“I saw it coming and I flew as high as I could, I saw everything from above, it was horrible, everyone started to fight each other and then suddenly the cloud took them away, they just disappeared” said the eagle.
They started to look for more animals that might’ve survived when suddenly they saw a squirrel.
“Hey! Hey! Over here! I’m all by myself,” said the squirrel.
“What happened how did you survived?” asked the tiger.
“I don’t know, I just felt like fighting but I did everything in my power not to” answered the squirrel.
They kept talking and wondering what was that black cloud that came and made everyone fight each other. They figure out that the only one who survived were the ones that didn’t fight. It turned out that the cloud brought the worse on the animals, but they had the choice to act on their darkness or to keep living in peace. They made a pact that no matter what happened they were always going to support each other and that they wouldn’t fight.
