Oh Lord, my Lord, I should have sought
Your strength before going to battle.
I do not have the strength to load
this pebble into my slingshot.
I have been knocked, I was throwed,
completely out of the saddle
by the temptation that I thought
could easily be defeated.

out of these, my puny little hands.

Your strength, Your armor, Your might.
But, no, I so selfishly thought..thought
no one truly understands
the temptation I daily fight.
I was easily defeated.

For there is no temptation known
to man that You faced not.
Yet sinless You remained. Alone,
I am too weak to battle
