I was late for my date,
I got to her place at 8:28
I parked by the gate,
28 minutes she had to wait,
Her dad, a High Court Magistrate,
Asked me to prostrate,
I shouldn't have come late,
But I was fortunate,
Why?... I won't expantiate,
We went to Golden Gate,
The restaurant was in a sorry state,
We had to relocate,
To where we got a decent plate,
It was not a bad first date,
I look forward to another date,
