Did you ever get a good bye kiss

from a 16 year boy when his

friends were standing right there

Do you know what it feels like to be picked up

and swung around till you’re laughing

and squealing like a little child

Did you ever have orange bugle flowers

waiting in dishes when you got home

from work everyday

Do you know how it feels to be

tucked in at night just because

someone thought you looked cold

Did ever have someone sing

She’s My Kind of Rain

to you when he thought you were sad

I have….because I have a son

I cahnged this a little

I was fixing myself a cup of coffee this morning and listening to my son get ready for school in his room; he's 16, he's funny, good looking, he treats his GF with respect, has tons of friends, he drinks his coffee out of a camo mug, loves his truck and his cowboy hat and always say's yes sir and yes ma'am....he will aways be my baby boy; even if he towers over me....these are thoughts that came to my mind...
