He rolls over and puts his head on my shoulder,
snuggling close; his arm across my chest.
I inhale the musky scent of his sleep and
study his face; the shadow of whiskers,
the perfect shape of his mouth.
My hand trembles as I gently brush my
finger tips against his temples.
He sighs and opens his eyes, looking at me
his mouth turns into a pleased smile.
I smile back because the touch of the
man I love is like no other touch in the world.
