Sing For Me Fat Lady

Submissive, obedient, compliant; well trained.
My life, my story; 20 years restrained.

Run over, bend over, roll over; play dead.
The days, the hours, the minutes, bloodshed.

Shut up, hush up, put up, calm down.
My thoughts, my opinions, my feelings dirt brown.

Frustration, aggravation, devastation, total waste.
No silence, no stillness, no peace, just waste.

It’s ended, it’s over, it’s finished, it’s done.
I’m thrilled, I’m ecstatic; the fat lady has sung.

I really like the stressful

I really like the stressful build up in this poem,
and the way you released it at the end.

I don't think your title is offensive.
It actually caught my attention, and led me here.

My favorite lines:
"Shut up, hush up, put up, calm down.
My thoughts, my opinions, my feelings dirt brown."

Only because I can relate.
I very much enjoyed dear.
Great work!
