So
I waited silently for you that night.
I thought it was special,

But
I’m a woman; my special doesn’t always agree with your special.
I knew she had already knocked,

And
she brought a long a quest this time.
Still I waited,
hoping I’d be wrong just once.

But
when I saw her smirk at me with fire in her eyes
I knew it was too late,
she took you away one more time
