I opened up my chest one time and my heart spilled to the ground

You picked it up so carefully and smiled at what you found

You wrapped your warmth around it and held it oh so tight

You told me you’d protect it with all your strength and might

You said my heart would never fall and I believe all that you say

Because now my heart it laughs and sings with each and every day
