Slowly standing, the suitors rise
To meet fair maiden
With Amytal eyes.
She curls a piece of her tinted yellow hair,(Obviously annoyed)
around one gold encircled finger.
As she curtseys to greet her guests.
The lovely princess reluctantly sits,
Awaiting the charming words,
to be spoken from her prince
(And as expected)Heavy hearted declarations of adoration began to float around the room.
Only to meet her inattentive diamond encrusted ears.
She Looks toward the carmine carpeted stairwell and
she prays to the Christian God to bring her, her one true love.
Send him to earth, on a Cherubim's wings.
With Aphrodite's blessing,
And With cupids love laced arrow embedded in his heart.
But neither Christ nor Zeus, could provide him for her, and so she is forced to listen to mindless, drab convorsations.
(And sadly) she is forever trapped in a world of never to come true daydreams.
She sighs and wipes away an escaped tear.(She is not supposed to cry)
Not every princess lives a fairy tale.
