Dreams Of Dahlia

I wait outside your door tonight

My fingers tracing splinters upon its frame

My dreams and hunger for what's on the other side

The monster in me not wanting to be tame

My breathe grows more rapid

Listening to your breathe as you sleep

You'll be the prize I carry proudly with me forever

The longing, the want that I can't keep

I bite down hard upon my lip

As my hand caresses the doorknob to turn

Moonlight escapes your window and over my twisted face

Tonight I'll take what you've never let me earn

I will be with you tonight

I will be with you...

I will be...
