Simply Life
So much life gathers here inside me.
Sadness is so far away.
Laughter arises from between my lips.
The sun shines light into even the darkest of corners.
I can feel the heat warm my cheeks and brighten my day.
For the first time, my eyes open and see not of death...
but of rebirth.
Life's obstacles seem difficult no longer.
Challenges become so easy.
It all seems worth going through.
Everything bad becomes only good, and things are working out for the best.
Colors are no longer blending vaguely.
They are now crisp and clear.
The moon rises over the trees, and the breezes are
blowing now ever so slightly.
The taste of peace comes upon me, allowing me to gently lie in the fresh green grass and stare into the beautiful skies of forever.
My future seems promising, and I plan to not waste a single moment of it.
For I know that, no matter what people say, I am special.
I am worth the wait.
I am a good person.
I am honest and compassionate.
I am myself, and people will love me for it.
