If Only I Could Die

If only I could die...

I wouldn't have to live with you not knowing.

If only I could die...

I wouldn't have to hurt when I know that it is not I who you seek.

If only I could die...

My eyes would no longer be stained by tears.

If only I could die...

I wouldn't have to live unnoticed.

If only I could die...

My secrets would be unraveled.

If only I could die...

Acceptance wouldn't be an issue.

If only I could die...

Sleep would no longer be so hard to gather.

If only I could die...

I wouldn't have to tell you what is killing me.

If only I could die...

I wouldn't have tell you that I love you.

If only I could die...

I wouldn't be rejected.

If only I could die...

I wouldn't have to live with myself.

If only I could die...

I wouldn't have to live in this cage any longer.

If only I could die... if only...

Hello friend,
This poem came out very well, I especially like the use of repitition of the first line. The theme, however, is a little bit dark, but I understand your pain, but I like to think of it as, if only you could live better...
Peace Out,
Much Love,
Irish
