I got you out my life

Free of the pain

The anger and rage

Everytime I speak with you



Don't need you anymore

I know I never did now

You made me believe I did

When all along I was better off



Never will you be with me

No matter what you say

I can handle anything

All because of one guy



Who believed in me

Told me I had the strength

I could do anything I need to

And I should have more belief



And when I did believe

I did it, it was there

The power to let you go

Kick you out, knowing it was over



You never understood me

Not the way a man should

Or one could later on

When I'm ready



I'm not yet so I'll wait

So I can find the right one

Someone who could love me right

Treat me the way a man should
