I have come to a place
of realization,
where I have been
and where I need to go.
Two-dimensional pictures of a
strobe-light past,
tie-dyed images haunt me.
That day, that time,
transcended the social norms
of society and establishment,
but is now gone.
To go back in time would be
a reversal of ground I have
already gained,
and regret is but a thorn in
my side.
And so I place the hour glass
in proper perspective.
Time is mine.
