This side of life hasn't been the same since you went away-
I've cried so many tears,
I miss you a little more each day.
It's hard to believe you really are gone.
That no matter what, you can't come back-
Everything on this side seems so wrong.
I miss my friend-
The one who always made me laugh and smile-
The one to wipe away my tears in the end.
It's lonely here without you,
Nothing quite feels the same,
Even the sky isn't as blue.
This side of life holds sorrow, hurt and pain,
This side of life holds faded memories of a close friend
Without you here, this side just isn't sane.
Good bye my friend,
Good bye to the laughter and the tears,
This side of life will never be the same again.
