I wish I could have told you that I loved you,
I wish you could have seen all the tears you've made us cry.
Maybe then you wouldn't have ran out death's door.
So young and sweet, the purr-fect kitten,
It's hard to accept that you are really gone.
Harder still is knowing I can never see you again.
What I would give for one more purr.
