When I was surrounded by darkness,
You lead me to the light.
Faith has lead me through the hard times,
Sometimes my words are all I've had,
Words I was afraid to share for fear you'd laugh,
But you believed in me.
You believed in me when I had nothing to believe in,
You helped me to see that I'm a good person,
That maybe my dreams will be again,
Even when I thought I was nothing.
You gave me hope,
