I looked up to you and what I saw was hope

In your eyes all I saw was possibility

You made all my fear easier to cope

With every step I took I regained my ability

To breath again and look ahead

And wake me up from the dead



I was weak and tired from sleepless nights

I was completely lost among the day

And slowly I began losing my fights

So by my side you decided to stay

And slowly help pick me back up

Putting a new elixir into my empty cup



So you finally got me to stand up by myself again

I'm glad you were there and helped me stay sane

For helping start to some what explain

How I could have possibly gone through such pain

So I'm hoping to ask you to stay next to me

For my heart is locked and I hope you'll always have the key
