2003 It's nervewracking
I was so nervous that I choked... figuratively.
Then those who I knew as my equals, or less,
seemed to shine in comparision.
I wanted it to much, and so much *more* than them...
That I practically bombed.
Yet I worried not, for she was a gentle, forgiving spirit.
And I relied on and trusted her
Thought it was smooth sailing
Put my fate in her marvellous hands
...and in a moment I was spirited away.
cast...aside. into the nonexistent corner
snubbed and replaced.
my fortune left untold,
and my fate left unknown...
