Unwritten Cracks of Dawn

It has been said before that love hurts
Our ancestors wrote “you reap what you sow”
Life yields depending on our Karma
I travel through time in my written memoirs

Life is an unwritten book, filled with changing moons
Her face is like a shining sun, blinding me from the burns
I wish I could fade, but all I can do is push on
We learn our lessons, never give up

I don’t know what the future will hold
All I know is I to have to learn from my errors
Never commit the same, conceited is down below
I hope your smile shines my future unwritten cracks of dawn
