It tells a tale of an angel in Heaven that looked upon a sinful man and had compassion for him. She fell from Heaven and sacrificed herself that... she might bring him to the Lord. Over time he grew to know the Lord, but was fatally poisoned.
She left him on a quest to find an antidote, not realizing that she was the cure. She missed him greatly and while away, the poison subsided with his great love for her. She was unaware that this had happened and continued to search for the antidote. He then despaired at her absence and slowly deteriorated. Upon her return, she found not the sinful man that first she fell to save, but a man that had joined God. And, though he'd been drawn near to the Lord, which is what she wanted all along, the man that she'd grown to love had been buried. Locked deep inside of a shell of flesh. Frantically, she tore at the prison. She prayed to God that He might have mercy on her and the sinful man that she'd tried to save. The good Lord gave this contemplation, but had not yet come to a decision...
