To love without looking
I thought it mgiht be easy
To live without limits
I thought I could be brave
By facing the fire
Thogut I could be saved
By needing my desire
I thought it would be lovely
To go where the wind blows
I thought it would be crazy
To give up without trying
I thought I could be happy
By loving you
I thought I could be whole
By trying too
I thought it would be easy
Like doing simple math
I thoguht it would be fun
Like chirstmas morning
I thought we’d both be brave
By facing this fire
I thought this love was saved
By feeling this desire
I thougth a lot of silly things
To get me through a silly life
I thoguht a lot of carzy things
To make things seem more sane
I thought I could love you
But I was wrong
I thought I could hold you
But I held on too long
