From the time I said I'd never
Till the day I feel in-love with you
I loved and lost and was forgotten
As such a fool would do

And form the moment I was honest
Till the second that was a lie
I tried and failed and was broken
As such a heart could cry

But from the instant it was clear to me
Till it all got washed away
I lived and breathed and was loved
On such a cold winters day
