Lain upon mine ear
Just a weeping sorrow
Swept inside mine tear
Just a joy
That's lost to thee
Just a prison
In this purgatory
Just a dream
A mockery
Just an echo's whisper
Captivity free

My impulse would have been to use "a whisper's echo" but I like it

i wasn't going to say anything about this, but then i read: 'Author's Comments on "An echo’s whisper"
LOVE? lol, what can you say about love that it can not say for itself?'

is this the first time you typed this? it's powerful. it's strange to think that even though you know that love is undescribable, you constantly try to describe it. the irony is sweet, but i could have it no other way.
