It is hard to believe that
I changed so much.
Gone is the shy, demure girl
who thought she needed you.
Now a confident, independent
woman stands in her place.
I won't say I don't have any
doubts or that I don't have
times where I revert but
I am much stronger.
I had to be after all you put
me through and seem to continue
to put me through.
Just know I am strong enough
to take all you throw at me.
I am ready to completely move
on and be happy.
Just know that I am stronger
and happier without you beside me.
Now I am ready for another to truly
take your place in my heart.
