Rain





Cool drops of fresh water

Gently falling on the earth,

Lulls some to sleep.

It washes away

The earth’s filth

If only for a moment.

It rinses us all clean.

The colors are all

Vibrant and bright,

The air is so

Crisp fresh and pure.

Till we again

Pollute it with our

Filthy thoughts

deeds and actions.
